The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality of Care Center (IBDQCC), jointly established in 2018 by the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology of Chinese Medical AssociationChina Health Promotion Foundation, serves as an official institution dedicated to promoting standardized IBD managementIBD medical center development in China. Currently, the diagnosistreatment of IBD still face significant difficultieschallenges. Despite significant advances in Chinas IBD field over the past decade, its development still represents a late start nationwide. While numerous healthcare institutions have established IBD centers, most teams remain in the early stages of understanding the disease. There is a lack of understanding on how to establish standardized centers that meet clinical diagnosistreatment needs, implement standardized process management, define treatment goals, which affects the diagnosistreatment outcomes of IBD patients. Therefore, it is imperative to establish IBD diagnosistreatment centers to enhance the quality of diagnosistreatmentimprove prognoses. The establishment of IBDQCC has played a pivotal role in advancing standardized IBD diagnosistreatmentimproving patients quality of life across Chinese medical institutions.
